Camp focus

This youth camp, we deploy the story of Ronia, the Robber’s Daughter, to symbolize our development. Team-building games, project-based learning are as essential as our unique approach on increasing exposure to social and leadership challenges.

We create space and capacity for building creativity by daily structures, which are formed by Waldorf routines, rituals, and rhythms. We together create the experience of «We can master together», on the one hand, while enjoy the beauty of sharing and accomplishing meaningful tasks.

On the other hand, experiencing the «I can really do» enables to achieve what is in one’s realm, and beyond – to go where you have not yet been, self-assured and self-aware. Join, if you want to gain a strong self-confidence. A strong personal capacity is accompanied by awareness and reflection, an important competence, increasing academical excellence, too.

Our Beijing site for learning through Ronia’s adventures is a comfortable and beautiful location. It serves to introduce adolescence to our international German-style Waldorf educational approach.
Due to the intensive experience, the wilderness exploration, nature, and specific characteristics of World Waldorf Children’s Camp (art and craft activities every day) parents should be prepared that children might dirty their clothes, feet and hands during the day. Counsellors are always involved into these activities and safeguard that children stay healthy and experience the joy that nature and community brings to them. Cellphones are collected by the counselors on the first day and handed out back to the children on the last day. Photos, videos and documentation will be accomplished by professionals, not from the participants, during the camp.
